Can I use the same account for my spouse, partner or other family members?
Because everyone has unique and personal final wishes and funeral plans, Celebrating Life’s Memories is designed to capture and share information at an individual level. You, your spouse, and family members should create their own personal account.
Do I have to enter all of the information?
You can enter as much or as little information as you would like and go at a pace that is comfortable for you. The need to add and change information as time goes by is normal and expected. Your Final Wishes Organizer is designed with prompts for things you should consider, and you have flexibility to answer them when and how you choose.
How often can I update my information?
You can update your Final Wishes Organizer as often as you would like. If you want to save previous information, you should download a PDF and keep that file before you update online.
How can I share my Final Wishes Organizer?
You have two ways to share your Final Wishes Organizer:
1. Once you have logged in to your organizer, you will see a share button on the gray bar. Click this icon and follow the easy to use instructions to share information of your choosing via a link to family, planners, or any other parties you choose. They should save this link because as you make updates, they can view your most up-to-date information.
2. You can download/save a PDF of the information you choose. The PDF file should be saved on your computer or portable memory device such as a memory stick or flash drive. You can then share the documents with whomever you choose.
Can I print my Final Wishes Organizer?
Yes. You can save a PDF of your Organizer at any time and save it on your computer. This is an easy way to review and print the information that you have completed and share it with family or professionals.
If I have already organized my affairs in paper form, should I use this service?
It’s great that you have already done a lot of work to organize your affairs. That shows that you are interested in reducing the burden for your family when you die. Celebrating Life’s Memories provides an extra measure of peace of mind because your information can be stored online where it is easy to share, and where it is protected from fire, flood, or being misplaced. Also, it prompts you with information which you may not have considered yet in your plan.
What if I’m not comfortable with technology and entering information online?
Many people may prefer to sit down with a loved one or someone they trust to enter their information online, and that is okay. If you just need a little help to get started, we offer a free 15-minute setup consultation by phone.
PRIVACY & MY DATA
Should I put confidential or sensitive information on the site?
While Celebrating Life’s Memories is a secure site, we recommend that you store sensitive information like passwords and social security numbers in a separate place. Is the information in Celebrating Life’s Memories legally binding?
