Step 1 - ORDER YOUR LIFE'S MEMORY BOX

Click on the “Get Started” button under Photo Preservation and fill out the simple form. Once completed, please allow up to 48 hours for us to process your order.  Once your Life’s Memories Box is shipped, we will provide you with a tracking number via e mail in order to track your shipment. We’ve established a toll free number for any questions you may have regarding your order.

Step 2 - PREPARE YOUR PHOTOS

Before your box arrives you will want to prepare and organize your photos.  The following helpful tips will walk you through the process.

 

How do I pack and organize my photos?

You can organize photos into groups of 100 photos which should be about one inch high. We will provide you with zip lock bags to safely store your photos and protect them from moisture.  Your photos should be free of mounting or backing material. We will also provide you with bubble wrap in your memories box to serve as an additional protective moisture barrier. Please do not include packing peanuts which can distribute small debris on your photos.  If you are trying to maintain a particular sequence, just place the first photo on the top and go from there.  If you want to group your photos just use our complimentary index cards and zip lock bags we’ve included in your memories box.

 

Is counting my photos necessary?

No.  Just estimate the number of photos you have and choose the best package option.  Again, a 1” stack of vertical photos is typically 100 photos.  A shoebox of loose 3”x5” and 4”x6” photos is usually about 1,000 photos.

 

Can I label my photos and does that cost extra?

Unlike other companies, we offer front and back scanning at no additional charge.  This feature allows you to identify the “Who, What, Where and When” for each photo.  Simply write the who what where and when on the back of each photo in dark ink.  IMPORTANT – While sophisticated, our scanning technology may not detect script which is light or faint on the back of you photo.  Please take extra care to make sure your description is DARK so that it can be detected.  Black ink is preferred.

Step 3 - PACK AND SHIP YOUR PHOTOS

Fill your Life’s Memories Box with your photos for safe shipment.  If you’ve chosen a tribute slideshow, follow the instructions on your tribute envelope. (You will be given a form to identify which photos you want to use and space to describe the who what where and when for each photo). Make sure your box is taped appropriately for shipping to ensure you’re your photos are secure. Once you ship to us, allow for one to three weeks to receive your original photos along with your digital copies.

Step 4 - WE CALL YOU AND PERSONALLY DELIVER YOUR PHOTOS

Once we have completed our work, we simply call you to set up personal delivery of you original and digitized photos which are stored on your personalized USB Flash Drive.   As an added benefit, you can request a free Celebrating Life’s Memories Planning Guide which include price comparisons of funeral homes in your area provided by our partner, www.funeralinformer.com.
