Last May, I purchased the fabulous kit from Songbird Avenue, Take Flight. This month, they have another great kit for June, Leap of Faith, and their guest designer is Vicki Stegall of Oscraps. This month’s kit will benefit the MercyCorps.

Before I move on, I am proud to announce that the donation for the Susan G. Komen Foundation, for last month’s kit “Take Flight”, amounted to $4,854.46!!! Isn’t it great? We are quite busy preparing my daughter for school. The start of classes is on June 10 and we still have a lot of school supplies to buy. There are always so many people in the local bookstores and I can’t seem to bring myself to buy the school supplies there. But I have too, eventually.

It seems like only yesterday, when I didn’t have to think about buying school supplies for anyone else but me. It seems motherhood is slowly seeping into my veins and now I realize that it’s hard work being a mother. I appreciate my Mom better now because I am a mother.There are books to cover, notebooks to label, meals to plan… *Sigh*

But then again, my hubby is my best companion. That is, he can help me with all the things I have to do. I’m so lucky to have him because he doesn’t mind doing house chores. Especially if I’m scrappin’ LOL :) It kinda makes me feel guilty sometimes, so I promised myself, I’ll make it up to him someday.

But… There’s that big BUT… I still had time to scrap :) So, just to share some layouts…
