Just wanted to share some pictures today. I’m drained. My creative juices are well, not necessarily on my side now. But I have to try this afternoon. Lots of pictures to scrap. I miss taking pictures and I thought I’d include them in this post, just to share. I used a 50mm lens for these shots. One of my favorite lenses to date :)

Here is my DD holding on to “Teddy”. It was given as a gift during my 18th birthday. Know those bears that came in special cans? It’s really soft and cuddly :) This picture was edited with MCP - Coloring book actions.

And another photo of Serine, my husband’s niece, and also my goddaughter. She rarely smiles I tell you :) This was edited using Red Leaf Actions - Vintage BW Gold.

Here are some pictures of my daughter and my husband’s nieces. They are staying here in Baguio for the whole month or more. I think my daughter longs for a sibling. She’s ecstatic about having my husband’s nieces with us. She always asks when she can have a sister or brother.

I’ve always loved working with children. They are wonderful to be with. Even if they are younger, they teach us to appreciate the most simplest things in life. I believe that in the eyes of a child, everyone and everything is precious and beautiful. You can see it in the twinkle of their eyes. Just being with them makes me appreciate life more. Yes, they can be stubborn at times, but they are great most of the time! :)

Even smiles can be contagious, don’t you think? Here’s Eana and my daughter. They’re both having a good time and this picture just makes me smile.

Here’s Serine and Eana. Serine rarely smiles now and often cries. I wonder why… I’ve tried making her laugh, making funny faces, playing with her… But I’m not giving up just yet :) I might get a smile or two next time.

Here’s another Cookie Decorating 101 challenge from SSD. This time using Aggie’s layout based on Kay Miller’s Spring Beauty layout

I made two pages with this template. First, using Zoe Pearn’s Haute Spring Kit, this is called “Flower Girl”. This was taken during a garden wedding. A friend invited us to take pictures with his team. I loved it. This little girl was so shy and she would run away from me if I aimed the camera at her. But I managed a couple of shots while she was playing with the petals in her basket.

The next page is “Sister”. This is my sister during one of our trips to Ilocos. We’ve always been mistaken as twins :) She’s off to college this June. She will be taking up engineering.
