Pic Share and LO Share

Just wanted to share some pictures today. I’m drained. My creative juices are well, not necessarily on my side now. But I have to try this afternoon. Lots of pictures to scrap. I miss taking pictures and I thought I’d include them in this post, just to share. I used a 50mm lens for these shots. One of my favorite lenses to date :)

Here is my DD holding on to “Teddy”. It was given as a gift during my 18th birthday. Know those bears that came in special cans? It’s really soft and cuddly :) This picture was edited with MCP - Coloring book actions.

And another photo of Serine, my husband’s niece, and also my goddaughter. She rarely smiles I tell you :) This was edited using Red Leaf Actions - Vintage BW Gold.

And of course, a layout I made last night showing pictures of Serine. At last a smile ;) I gave it the title “Dragonfly”. For credits please click on the image below.

Thanks for looking and enjoy the rest of the weekend. For us here in Baguio City, it’s gonna be a long weekend. Tomorrow will be Cordillera Day, that means no classes. My DD won’t have classes on Tuesday too. Enough scrap time? I hope so :)

Back To School

It’s back to school here in the Philippines. My daughter is already in first grade. How time flies…

We spent the past few days preparing her books, her notebooks and other school supplies. We also had to plan her meals in school ‘coz she will be staying there until 2:20 in the afternoon.

Traffic gets worse especially in the morning. We didn’t want to get caught in traffic on her first day. We left home at about 6 am in the morning (That’s a record. I don’t think that will happen again LOL) Can you believe we arrived at the carpark at about 6:15 in the morning? We had to wait until 7:20 to bring her to school. Well, it wasn’t that bad being early. We had a brief walk around the Baguio Cathedral before sending her to school.

Here’s a page for my daughter on her first day of classes as a first grader.
