I want to join a lot of scrap challenges in my favorite shops but time evades me. Last night though, I was able to make a LO for the July Collab Challenge at Scrapartist while my DH and DD were already asleep. We have to use the July Collab kit from Scrapartist “Ocean Picnic” for the LO. This kit is d’ bomb! I love it! It is versatile to use in any of your LO’s :)

But before I share my LO, I can finally announce that I’m one of the CT members chosen by Zakirah (Matahati) to join her first creative team. Woohoo! and of course, I’m in Cloud 9! You can check out this thread @ DST to find out who else made it. Thanks Z! I am honored to be in your team!

{ Beach Bum }

This is my brother Mike in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. White sand, clear waters… *Sigh* I promised myself I’ll go back there again :)

Journaling: This was taken during our first visit to Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte. The beach was superb! It was the first time that we had a vacation together as a whole family. The trip to Ilocos was tiring but we had a lot of fun. Mike had a blast at the beach. We took so many pictures but this one is my favorite. It was a great, fun time for our family. - 2006

How was the weekend ladies? Empty purses? New kits? LOL :) A few shops had SALES over the weekend and I’m sure you ladies couldn’t resist ;)

This was a LO I made for the Copycat Challenge # 2 @ Oscraps.

“Masaya ako pag kapiling ka”, written on the tags means “I am happy when I’m with you”.

I’m trying something new with my pages, and it’s the color black.

I love using black backgrounds because elements and pictures literally pop out from the dark background, especially when using bright colored elements.
