What could be more perfect than cookies on a rainy afternoon? I ain’t talking about those edible cookies that I absolutely love, but a Cookie Decorating challenge from Sweet Shoppe Designs.
So now let’s talk about the weather… Here in Baguio, it has been raining every afternoon. It’s cold and wet. And I love it! Nothing better than sipping a cup of coffee in front of a computer making layouts. LOL :)
Here’s my second cookie. I downloaded the template from SSD. The template is from Cindy, based on MandaBean’s layout.

Here’s Cindy’s take on the template:

For my layout, I used Kay Miller’s All Organic Kit which is available at her shop. Let me just say that I love her kits! I know you’ll be singing the same tune after you visit her shop :)
Here’s a preview of the All Organic Kit from Kay Miller:

And here’s my layout for the cookie decorating challenge at SSD.

The journaling for this page is special because I used a song by Martina McBride. I love the lyrics to her song, “In My Daughter’s Eyes”. It is such a touching and beautiful song.
Before I end this post, check out these other kits from Kay Miller that I absolutely love : Lovin Life and Simple Pleasures
Cheers! :)
